Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

The OINP operates through several streams aligned with Express Entry (Human Capital Priorities, French-Speaking Skilled Worker, Skilled Trades) as well as Ontario-specific streams (Employer Job Offer, Master's Graduate, PhD Graduate). A provincial nomination adds 600 points to the CRS score when combined with Express Entry.

Main conditions

  • Meet the criteria of one of the OINP streams, either Express Entry-aligned or Ontario-specific
  • For Express Entry-aligned streams: have an active profile in the Express Entry pool
  • For the Employer Job Offer stream: hold a valid job offer from an Ontario employer
  • For the Master's/PhD Graduate streams: have obtained a degree from an eligible Ontario institution
  • Demonstrate a genuine intention to settle in Ontario
  • Obtain the provincial nomination, which adds 600 CRS points when combined with Express Entry

Countries of origin

Open to candidates from most countries, unless otherwise stated or subject to specific consular restrictions.
