Odyssée Canada

About Odyssée Canada

Odyssée Canada is an independent information platform dedicated to immigration and visas to Canada.

Our mission

Make Canadian immigration information accessible, clear and up to date, in several languages, to help everyone understand their options before starting procedures that are often long and costly.

The expertise behind the content

Odyssée Canada is built on hands-on immigration expertise, combined with a master's-level background in human resources management and skills/competency engineering. This dual expertise — immigration and human resources — makes it possible to approach every file from two complementary angles: compliance with a program's regulatory criteria, and how well a candidate's profile genuinely matches the needs of the Canadian labour market.

This is what explains, for example, the attention this site pays to in-demand fields of training in the PSTQ selection grid, or to how transferable work experience is valued in the CRS score calculation: understanding a program's criteria isn't enough — you also need to understand what makes a profile genuinely competitive in the targeted labour market.

This expertise informs the quality and relevance of the site's informational content. It does not replace an individualized consultation with a regulated CICC consultant when it comes to filing an application — see our Consultants page.

Editorial independence

Odyssée Canada is not affiliated with IRCC, the Government of Quebec, or any other government body. Our content is based on official public sources (IRCC, MIFI, provincial immigration ministries) which we systematically cite. We may earn compensation when users are matched with partner consultants, without this influencing the objectivity of our informational content.

Ongoing monitoring

We monitor federal and provincial Canadian migration policy news to provide you with up-to-date information.
