Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)
The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) includes several streams, including the Alberta Express Entry Stream (aligned with the federal pool), the Alberta Opportunity Stream (for workers already employed in Alberta), as well as streams for entrepreneurs and rural regions.
Main conditions
- ✓Have an active profile in the Express Entry pool, or currently hold a job in Alberta for the Opportunity Stream
- ✓Demonstrate a genuine connection to Alberta (employment, studies, family)
- ✓Meet the education and experience criteria of the targeted stream
- ✓For the Entrepreneur stream: present a serious business plan and invest in an Alberta business
- ✓Obtain the AAIP provincial nomination

Open to candidates from most countries, unless otherwise stated or subject to specific consular restrictions.
